Pupil Committees
We are proud of all our pupils at our school, their hard work and commitment to the life of Dallas Road. We are committed to listening to the views, wishes and experiences. We value what our children tell us about their experiences and highly value their contribution to Dallas Road. We encourage our children to take on a range of positions of responsibility and many are democratically elected on to our pupil committees.
School Council
The School Council meet regularly with the Senior Leadership Team. The children take on additional responsibilities, act as ambassadors for the school and help organise whole school charity and fundraising events. The members also have the opportunity to meet other school council representatives from a variety of schools at the Lancaster, Morecambe and District Pupil Parliament.
Eco Committee
We are passionate about addressing environmental issues throughout our school. We believe that an eco committee encourages cooperation and helps create a better understanding of environmental issues.
Health and Wellbeing Committee
The Health and Wellbeing Committee members promote Health and Wellbeing across the school. They listen to the views of their peers and sharing their ideas across the school. They aim for all to feel safe and happy in school.
Language Ambassadors
A rich array of languages are spoken by the Dallas Road community. The work of our language ambassadors seeks to recognise and celebrate this. They take a lead role in planning our annual 'Languages Day'.
Arts Committee
The members of our Arts Committee are passionate about promoting the arts throughout school. They play a key role in helping to plan exhibitions and special events.
